The Walk was a great success. We have been able to raise awareness about dengue fever among the students at Delta College Sialkot campus. The participants were informed about their role in the spread of dengue fever and how they can help prevent its spread. it is important for all citizens to take precautions and avoid getting infected by the disease. Precautions include being indoors as much as possible, wearing long sleeves and pants, using mosquito repellent, and sleeping under mosquito nets.

As the month of Ramadan approaches, we are reminded that during that time, it is important to take extra care around water sources, as they can be breeding grounds for mosquitoes. There are many ways that you can help protect yourself from mosquito bites during this time of year. One way is to wear protective clothing and use insect repellent.

If you are bitten, immediately wash the affected area with soap and water to reduce the risk of contracting dengue fever (DF). If you suspect you have DF, seek medical attention immediately by calling your doctor or health center.
